I hope i can motivate all of you as much as you motivate me

Most of the pictures I post myself on here are my original photography/motivational words. I Hope they inspire you.

I post workouts every Monday and Wednesday that I do in my circuit training class, they are very effective if you want to give them a try

feel free to ask me anything

This is a before and *during* photo - I still have about 20 pounds that I want to lose in order to be the right size for my height - but I really needed to see this, to see how far I’ve come so far, kind of re-motivated me :)
I’m wearing the same shirt and shorts in the first two photos, and the 3rd photo I’m wearing more of a skin tight shirt to see how I’ve changed since then

Stop yourself from getting discouraged

Don’t set up a time period in which you want to reach your UGW or size - for example don’t say “I need to be x weight by July” or whatever you may be telling yourself, because if it doesn’t happen you are just setting yourself up for discouragement.

I am guilty of this too, I want to be at my UGW by my trip to Cancun at the end of July - but at this rate, I’m realizing that it’s probably not going to happen…

Then I remember that if I just keep on going I WILL get there eventually, whether it’s this year, or next year, or in a couple of years - it will happen, and that’s the whole point right?

Next time you start to get discouraged about not losing weight fast enough - think about how you will get there one day and how amazing it will feel. Let go of your time constraints.

Today’s workout: my legs feel like jelly now! I chose to do 40 burpees instead of the 1 mile run. Finished in 21 minutes :)
If you don’t have a pullup bar - just do 50 tricep pushups instead :)
If you can’t do a full pullup, do jumping pullups until you get stronger

I shouldn’t have taken that (3 hour) cat nap today

I have a bad feeling about trying to fall asleep tonight

Hopefully all goes well and I’ll be able to fall asleep relatively quick - who knows though

Meal plan that has helped me lose weight/bloat the best

Breakfast:

1 piece of toast

1 tbsp peanut butter

1 cup vanilla almond milk

Snack (only if I’ve lifted weights):

1 cup chocolate milk

Lunch:

salad (spinach or romaine)

1 can of tuna (or chicken breast)

1/2 avadado

2 tbsp honey mustard dressing

Snack:

1 string cheese

1 small palmful of pistachios

Dinner (usually anything just a small portion) BUT an ideal dinner is:

grilled chicken or fish with roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, and parsnips.

All of this is usually ~1500 calories

Still haven’t bought any new clothes since I started losing weight (August 2011)

I still have clothes from back in the day from when I was smaller that I’m slowly size by size fitting into. Makes me so happy to see my progress this way

can’t wait to get down to my UGW/size and buy a whole new wardrobe (I’ve saved so much money not buying clothes every time I visit the mall for the past 6 months) I’ve seemed to have broken that addiction

This circuit, is fast, yet very effective - it will get your heart rate up as well as work your muscles

Thrusters example - make sure when you squat down, you squat bellow your knees/parallel

Going to the movies tonight!

Boyfriend and I are going to see Starwars in 3D (lol - I know) - but I’m going to take a huge tote bag with me filled with my own popcorn and water. :) Boyfriend thinks I’m ridiculous - I think it’s brilliant.
